Fibre Optic
Octopus are able to install, splice, terminate, test and commission all grades of fibre optic cabling. Recent projects include the upgrade and installation of a fibre optic network for the CCTV system of a national museum.
We have our own Fujikura Fusion Splicer for immediate use by our engineers as well as being able to carry out terminations using alternative methods such as glue and polish and AMP Light Crimp Plus. Testing is carried out using Fluke test equipment with test results supplied in .pdf format.
